Guided Meditation Jewish (Kabbalah?)?

My (reform) youth group is having an event at a local beach. As I am in charge of programming, I'm looking to write a meditation-based program, specifically "Jewish meditation, which some call the Kabbalah. There is so much information about this topic and approaches so different … I feel very overwhelmed …=] Basically, I start by identifying and / or edit an existing script guided meditation that is on any of the following topics: nature, beach / ocean, possibly, new beginnings, and of course, Judaism! I guess I do not have a specific question, but anything to help me develop my program is greatly appreciated! all:) thanks so far everyone:) I just wanted to add Jaderak that reminded me the importance of simplicity … I want to be straight to the point and ensure that connections can be made easier when we talk about meditation after

Wow, that sounds like a wonderful project. You've inspired me to prove yourself. lol there are many cards that show the chakra points associated with all spheres of the Tree of Life. Take meditation and visualize the person walking in a forest, beach, through the mountains, change the settings for all areas, and Added bits of wisdom that is associated with each area of the Sephiroth. The Kabbalah is very complicated, and although I studied abroad for years and I consider myself in any way an expert. However, for a guided meditation for a group of people who probably have little or no knowledge about it, you can succeed. There are great books on the subject, but they are usually very overwealming. I've begun to understand the Kabbalah much better since I read a chapter very simple about it in "Secrets of High Magic". But still, keep it as simple as you can. Look at all the cards, learn about the areas, and only make it easy to understand, otherwise you'll miss and everyone is with information. : D If you want to talk about it, I really like, and maybe we could give each other ideas. I think I will try this with my teammates fourth. My Yahoo is gwenhwyfar_aine

What is Kabbalah and the Zohar What I want to know if the Kabbalah Center is good or bad?

Hello I want to know more about cuz of Kabbalah books of Kabbalah center are so expensive and I've read that are not true Kabbalah .. I have tried to know more, if Kabbalah is a part of the religion of Judaism. so I want to know about the Zohar, if the Zohar If it is a sacred text? and what he is talking about this book? and wrote this book? byee send good website

A third of the Law of Moses was written for the whole population. The other two thirds were tradition oral, reserved for the priesthood, which were (supposedly) more spiritually mature and able to handle this knowledge with wisdom. This oral tradition is the Kabbalah. Already in the 200, a rabbi (I forget his name) decided that the world should know these things and wrote it all. Many people have gathered and used this knowledge (even before that, having achieved Ahold of knowledge by other means). Kabbalah is the basis for the work Aliester Crowley, but of course, tend to be used for dark purposes that … So it is supposed to be kept secret in the first place. No interesting information there … especially if you take the time to learn Hebrew, or at least translate everything himself from the original Hebrew. Note the subtle meanings of words. Do not get trapped in literal translations that ignore the numerical values and mystique of every letter and every possible combination of letters. Things like the way that God is neither male nor female, but it is both, although more women. How Angelic Realms work and how to seek assistance from the angels in particular. Things like that. It provides a whole new understanding of Judaism. The Zohar is not a book sacred per se, but is a valuable tool for understanding the oral tradition of the Mosaic law. It is generally considered to have been written by Moses de Leon, a Spanish 13th century. Affirms … any … many believe it was actually a translation of the writings of Rabbi 2nd century. It is worth checking out. If you're really seek the truth, however, you will learn a lot of good information there to help you in your future spiritual growth. It is a step on the road. Just be careful about speak. Learning about it is one thing, but taking the responsbility of the use of the information is more than most are able to use Humas so responsible. Every action has a reaction. Karma and all that. Not a great deal of research. Worth. And do not read Dion Fortune. She is a charlatan. She was hanging Aliester tails of Crowley, and not learn their lessons well. She really lost the full meaning of the Kabballah. Of you are going to go on that side of things, go to the source. Crowley had a great understanding of the human mind and is the interaction with the spiritual realms. He understood the magic and why it works. Even had the right idea at first, but ultimately lost because he could not handle the consequences of their work. Too much power. Power is corrupting. Originally, his main message was "do what you want ye harm none. "He believed this treaty and, in general practice, but had an intense need to know if the working material. In order to write about of magic, I wanted to know how it worked … in practice, not just theoretically. He went crazy at the end but had the best information and more commonly available on precisely how the magic in the spiritual realms. Good reading, but again, best not to practice. He did research, and who knows what's what. But you do not have to because I already did … and probably would like it if she kept searching, as he did. It's good to understand how things, but not so good to try to make changes. The universe is in balance … all is well … but you never know what will happen when you make a change. Al Like the old "butterfly in South America causing typhoon in the Mediterranean 50 years later" thing. You do not know what will make their actions so it is best not to mess with him. Good knowledge however.

The following are additional notes from my first interview with Morten St. George on the subject of Kabbalah. For their technical nature, that were left out of the distribution previous limited "Nostradamus Linked to the Kabbalah." But now I see that provide useful information, so I'm adding to the distribution of this entire article.

i) St. George theorizes that the car originally issued a total of one hundred revelations. He more than guesses, the following in the first sentence of the book co-issued Sefer Yetzirah, isolated early Kabbalists Thirty-two of the revelations and designated as "paths of wisdom." In changes in the Paris edition, exactly thirty-two stanzas follow the same pattern of poetry realignment. Therefore, the original one hundred revelations the revelations of Elijah, St. George believes that Nostradamus published the thirty-two paths of wisdom, plus an additional ten revelations.

ii) St. George is convinced that the purpose of alterations in Paris was to provide a system for locating real revelations in the book of Nostradamus. However, thirty-nine changes of Paris, St. George claims that only the first replacement and replacement of latter corresponds to a revelation. Consequently, to locate the remaining disclosures, St. George believes that one must learn to give a course to them, possibly through maneuver around or through circles or spheres. To date, St. George has not succeeded in doing this.

iii) The four editions of Paris in the late sixteenth century still exist and the four are available in public libraries. Two of them can be found in the British Museum Library in London, and its textual variants were recorded by staff St. George. The other two are in libraries in France. A bibliographic report on the alternatives in France does not mention the first amendment, the one and only change in the second group of one hundred stanzas Nostradamus and St. George, do not know if that was an oversight by the bibliographer, or if there are slight differences beyond the three stanzas Additional French versions.

iv) Several brief descriptions of the thirty-two paths of wisdom still there, each constituting a synopsis the essence of a verse of Nostradamus. St. George said it was "fun and games" links with descriptions of their relevant disclosures. Also I said some of the best English language – descriptions of the roads are in the books written by Christian scholars of Kabbalah.

v) For people who want to learn about Kabbalah, St. George recommends Origins of Kabbalah Gershom Scholem to quickly become familiar with the matter. This book includes references to the strange revelations of Elijah. St. George says read carefully, looking for Tie-ins with the revelations. For example, when Scholem notes that medieval Kabbalists Attachment "the name of the prophet" to his name, just look at the first verse of Revelation II-28 for an explanation, is not "the name the prophet. "See, in particular for cases in which Scholem expresses surprise or shock, as when viewed with the exclamation Bahir refers to the goddess of the moon. In fact, the goddess of the moon is unlikely to have played a role in Judaism, at any time, but for an explanation you need only drop a verse in the II-28, where you'll find Diana, the goddess of the moon!

vi) St. George recalls that the first sign that showed a relationship between Nostradamus and Isaac Luria came from a passage in Sefer Ha-Chaim Vital Hezyonot, which transmits a date in 1566 on the Jewish calendar. In this passage, someone can not stop mourning and weeping. The date of Jews converts to the date of death Nostradamus. However, St. George does not think that would be particularly useful Lurianic Kabbalah to maneuver around the spheres.

vii) One hundred and two years after the death of Nostradamus, a Dutch printer by the name of Jean Jansson published an original manuscript of the Epistle of Nostradamus the first publication of this manuscript. St. George knows that this was an original manuscript because it contained textual variants that Nostradamus only he could have created. The Dutch printer itself is also published in Hebrew and Latin, the book of creation of Sefer Yetzirah, which attached a description of the thirty – two paths of wisdom. The description of the twenty-eighth route, however, was omitted. Consequently, St. George believes Nostradamus book can contain only thirty and one of the thirty-two paths. According to St. George, the road still would have been a revelation to date on the death of the king of Nostradamus, Henry II of France, which certain reasons, Nostradamus could not print and can be replaced with another revelation.

For Jews astrology making role play in Judaism? Is it part of Kabbalah? I ask this question?

I have heard in more than one occasion that the Bible is full of astrology and the Kabbalah teaches that the use of astrology. Did anyone learn in Judaism to clear things up for me?

Specifically Judaism forbids Jews to consult an astrologer or any other form of fortune teller. Now the reason for this is that astrology and divination are based on construction standards in the world and Jews are specifically removed from nature and directly Di-s below. To explain further, the world is seen as divided into 70 nations, each of these nations is represented by a HaShareit Malachei, a kind of angel guardian, who is represented by a constellation. Thus, the constellations (astrology) represent the physical forces of the world and their spiritual connection. Without But it is specifically in relation to these that we have been forbidden to worship other heavenly powers! The point about all these forces is that they have free will and limited to rule the world according to the wishes of Di-s and the standards it has set up for the world. Thus, consultation with these forces through astrology or other means and even is within the scope of idoltary-entry of a spiritual being before Di-s. so why not Jews should not participate in astrology is a form of idolatry. The ban extends to Jews in another realm, that the fact that the Jews are outside of nature, Di-s specifically takes away the natural course of events and placed us directly under his control. Thus, natural phenomena and addresses our lives should be taken as decreed by the stars, not set-to set our own destiny, under Di-s. However, as a good thing, a gift can be neglected. If a Jew consulting an astrologer, it becomes governed by the stars and therefore renounces the divine protection that otherwise, in the natural order of events. The same principle would apply to any of the righteous among non-Jews (in other words, those who follow the Seven Laws of Bnei Noach). If you are fair and believe in God, preserve the free will to grow spiritually and become more righteous. if they choose instead placed in the hands of the stars, then governed by nature and its laws.

How do I stop videos playing on StumbleUpon Kabbalah?

Kabbalah supporters seem to outweigh the trolls video on StumbleUpon. Since many of their videos are not exact titles, is difficult to eradicate those outside the selection of tripping. Have not religious category to dump Stumble all these videos based on fiction?

I can not believe someone actually stumbles YOUR videos! All content on YouTube is scraped video.stumbleupon.com, and displayed on the website so lame that you can not even read the video description or viewer comments. If embedding is off, the video does not even can play videos and Disabled, SU disables the link takes you to YT, so fat chance you will never find their way to a functional copy of video! Try to see a video of video.stumbleupon.com instead of YT, and a good opportunity to review video.stumbleupon.com instead. UB has a cat for religion, and even cats for Christianity, Judaism and Islam, but no 2 people seem able to agree on what belongs to any of the cats – no video or spiritualistic launch Mumbo Jumbo on the topic. My advice is, if you want videos, go to the fountain, where you can choose your next video from a list of videos that are related to one that has just see! PS Thanks for pointing out an error that I had missed.
